
To navigate the list, use the Up and Down arrows at the top and bottom of the list, or scroll up and down the list using your mouse wheel. In some cases, the list of materials can be too long to be displayed all at once. Then, click the material image to view the results returned by the search.
To search for materials, select the Search mode, type the full or partial name of the material and press Enter. Then, click the material image to open the list of materials in the chosen category. To browse materials by category, make sure the Categories mode is selected and choose the required category in the list. Simply open the Enscape Material Editor and select the material you wish to edit. To help you create the desired look and feel for your project, it is possible to edit materials within Enscape.
This feature allows you to store materials on a shared network drive for example. To help you organize your materials, it is possible to change the location that textures are imported and stored to. Once imported, you will find the material listed in the Enscape Material Editor, where you can further edit the material if required. This is particularly useful for individuals and teams who want to access certain pre-prepared materials from other projects.
As well as being able to import materials directly from the Material Library into the Enscape Material Editor, you can batch import and export material packages.
